The 39th Annual John Lennon Tribute

with a special performance by Natalie Merchant

Theatre Within’s Annual John Lennon Tribute charity concert joyfully celebrates John Lennon’s life, music and timeless message of peace, love, social justice and activism.

This year’s Tribute will feature a special performance by Natalie Merchant, who will be honored with the 2019 John Lennon Real Award. Recent honorees include Rosanne Cash, Patti Smith and Donovan.

Proceeds from the long-running Tribute help fund Theatre Within’s ongoing free workshops, including the John Lennon Real Love Project songwriting workshop, at Gilda's Club, NYC for children who have lost a parent to cancer and adult cancer survivors. 

Staring in the spring of 2020, in commemoration of John Lennon’s 80th birthday, Theatre Within will offer the John Lennon Real Love Project to public schools and libraries in the New York tri-state area.
