Dana Fuchs
Hailed as the new Janis Joplin even before she played the legendary rock icon in an off-Broadway musical, Dana Fuchs is an acclaimed blues-rock singer/songwriter whose versatile career has embraced music, theater, and film. Her latest album, "Love Lives On,” was released last year to glowing reviews: “A soul-drenched release that could have been done by Stax.” (Blues Rock Review)
Chris Smither
With a career spanning nearly 50 years and 18 albums, Chris Smither has been hailed as “an American original and one of the best singer-songwriters in the world.” He writes and sings about “the big things — life, love and loss — in a penetrating and poetic yet unpretentious way.” (Acoustic Guitar magazine)
Mary Fahl (former lead singer of October Project)
With her awe-inspiring power vocals, Mary Fahl first achieved fame in the 1990s as the lead singer of the dynamic chamber pop-group, October Project. Since then, she has released a series of compelling solo albums, including her stunning re-working of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and, her most recent, Love and Gravity.
David Broza
Israeli superstar David Broza has long been considered one of the most dynamic and vibrant performers in the singer/songwriter world. His charismatic and energetic performances have brought to worldwide audiences a fusion of the three different countries in which he was raised: Israel, Spain and England. Broza unites the three worlds with his mastery of the troubadour tradition.
Jill Sobule
Best known for the hit single "I Kissed a Girl", and "Supermodel" from the soundtrackClueless, Jill Sobule's folk-inflected compositions alternate between ironic, story-driven character studies and emotive ballads. Her critically acclaimed new album, Nostalgia Kills, is her first in nine years.
Cliff Eberhardt
A founding member of the legendary Fast Folk Music Cooperative in New York City, Cliff Eberhardt was part of the second acoustic music revival that emerged from Greenwich Village. Along with Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, Lucy Kaplansky, John Gorka and others, he established himself as one of the finest songwriters in the modern folk tradition with a string of beloved albums on Red House Records.
