The Kennedys

The Kennedys are Pete and Maura, singers, songwriters and guitarists.
They began their touring life as members of Nanci Griffith's Blue Moon Orchestra, traveling the US, England, Scotland and Ireland. With the release of their first CD they continued on the road as a married duo, and that endless tour continued right up until the pandemic lockdown.
Determined to keep the music playing, they began a series of Sunday afternoon online concerts that has grown into a weekly "gathering" for an ever-growing global audience. They feature a different program every week, with songs drawn from their dozen-plus CDs and viewer favorites from across the musical spectrum, especially icons including Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, Dylan, and The Byrds. Expect an evening of energetic and uplifting songs with heavenly harmonies and a heaping helping of hot guitar.
